Clarence Delmar Potter, 78, of Paragould, passed away Monday at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was the son of the late Clyde and Bertie Barnhill Potter. He was a truck driver and a mechanic who enjoyed fishing, gardening, and traveling in his free time. He was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Vernice Potter; brothers, Leroy Potter and Randal Potter; sisters, LaDon Dawson, Freida Kennedy, and Frances Potter; and step son, Lonnie Brown.
Survivors include Daughter, Mary Frye, of Pargould; brother, Jerrell Potter (Kay), of Paragould; step sons, Ronald Brown, of Oregon and Richard Brown, of Kentucky; step daughters, Connie Nelson, of Kansas, Bonnie Woods (Wesley), of Paragould, and Mary Ann Roby (Roger), of Kansas; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday at Brown's Chapel Cemetery from 11:00-12:00 pm. Graveside service will follow beginning at 12:00 pm. Masks are required and guests are asked to practice social distancing.
