Christopher "C'Po" Dewayne Polston, 37, sadly passed from this life Friday, October 6, 2023, from natural causes. He was born in Pocahontas on December 21, 1985, to Kenny Polston and Tina Winkler. Chris graduated from River Valley High School in Strawberry. He was of the Baptist belief and was employed at Martin Sprocket & Gear for over six years. Chris loved all sports, especially football and basketball. He enjoyed playing video games and was a Marvel fan. Chris also enjoyed and took pride in his truck. He adored his nieces and nephews, and he had a special bond with his mama. Chris is preceded in death by his loving granny and grandpa, Melvin and Ruby Broadway; grandmother, Loretta Knuckles; aunts, Marilyn Kay Doyle and Deanna Finney; and uncle, Billy Ray Hill.
Chris was loved, cherished, and survived by his mother of the home, Tina Renee Broadway Winkler; father, Kenny Polston of Jonesboro; sister, Stephanie (James) Willard of Paragould; brothers, Alan (Breann) Polston of Lorado and Tim (Amber) Polston of Paragould; cousin, Billy Doyle of Paragould, who was like a brother; nephews and nieces, Tyler (Avery), Taylor(Manell), Brooklyn, Lilly, Kylie, David, Timber, Lanni, and JuliAnn; great nephews and nieces whom were his joy and he loved so very much, Tyler Jr. (Lil Willy), Anissa, Ava (baby bean), Gary, Spencer, and Maya; many cousins; and numerous friends.
A celebration of Chris's life will be Monday, October 9, 2023, from 11 AM until 12 PM at Heath Funeral Home. A visitation will follow from 12 PM until 2 PM. Memorials may be sent to Together We Foster at https://togetherwefosternea.org/#donate.
