Christine Marie Kerr

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Christine Marie Kerr. Born on November 30, 1967, in St. Louis to David Kerr and the late Karen Kerr, Chris touched the lives of all who knew her and will forever be remembered for her compassionate heart, vibrant spirit, and endless love.

Chris graduated from Oak Grove High School. Although she didn't obtain a college degree, she was always eager to learn and continued to pursue knowledge throughout her life. She discovered her passion for hair styling and embarked on a fulfilling career as a hairdresser. With her artistic flair and impeccable skills, Chris left a lasting impact on her clients, leaving them feeling beautiful inside and out.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Chris cherished her role as a mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. She shared an unbreakable bond with her daughter, Bridget Brickell, and delighted in being a source of love, support, and guidance in her life. Chris's heart overflowed with joy as she watched her grandchildren grow and thrive. She treasured every moment spent with them and created countless cherished memories filled with laughter, love, and unwavering devotion.

One of Chris's unique passions was her love for chickens. She found solace and joy in caring for them and even had over 400 show chickens at one point. It was through nurturing these animals that she discovered the beauty in the simple things and the importance of finding happiness in life's small pleasures.

Chris's warm presence and contagious laughter will be deeply missed by her father, David Kerr; daughter, Bridget (TJ) Brickell; son, David Hall; grandchildren, Jesse Brickell, Ashton Morris, Aiden Morris, Myla Brickell, Jackson Brickell, Wendell Prejean, and Kimber Brickell; sisters, Michelle Tulgetske and Cindy Kerr; partner in life, Matt Manley; and all her extended family and friends. Chris was preceded in death by her mom, Karen Kerr, and her daughter, Angel Kerr.

Friends and family are invited to join together in commemorating Chris's remarkable journey, sharing stories, and finding solace in each other's presence on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 6-8 PM at Heath Funeral Home. A celebration of Chris's life and legacy will take place on Saturday at February 3, 2024, at 10 AM at Heath Funeral Home with Pastor Jared Pickney officiating. Following the service, Chris will be laid to rest at Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Matt Manley, TJ Brickell, David Hall, Tim Brickell, Ashton Morris, and Aiden Morris. Honorary pallbearers are Jesse Brickell and Jackson "Jax" Brickell.

During this time of profound loss, let us remember Chris for the radiant light she brought into our lives and the love she bestowed upon us all. May her spirit guide us and may her memory be forever etched in our hearts.
