Charles William Wineland, 84, of Paragould, died Wednesday at The Cottages of Belle Meade. He was a retired Supervisor with General Motors, of the Methodist belief and attending East Side Baptist Church. Charles was an Army veteran serving in the Korean War, lifetime member of Osage Beach VFW.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Hassie Perry Wineland; step-son, David Collins; brothers, Floyd, Dennis, Raymond, Otis Wineland; sister, Patricia Wineland.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Wineland of the home; daughter, Tamra Lynn (Vick) Everhart of Terra Haute, Indiana; son, Todd Charles (Kari) Wineland of Bethalto, Illinois; step-daughter, Debbie Dixon of Osage Beach, Missouri; brothers, Marion Wineland of Paragould, Arthur Wineland of Mountain Home, Raymond Wineland of Viola; sisters, Ruby House of Paragould, Fay Bryant of Paragould, and Diane Rodgers of Naples, Florida; grandchildren, Charles Wineland, Clara Wineland, Eric Collins, Dustin and Dylan Collins, Stevie Nielson, Taylor Dixon; great grandchildren, Tegan Nielson, Trinity Nielson, Ryder Collins, Stella Collins, Sutton Collins and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11-1 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the Heath Chapel with Rev. Doug Compton officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
