Charles Earl Williams

Charles Williams, 89, of Cardwell, passed away Thursday in Monette. He was a retired farmer. He served in the Army during World War II. Charles was the son of the late Bailey and Nina Laferney Williams. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Carlos, Doyle, and Melvin Williams; son-in-law, Esker Swain; and nephew, Keith Montgomery.

Survivors include his wife, Margie Williams of the home; daughters, Sandra Swain, Jackie (Bob) Gillion, and Kathy (Sammy) McPherson, all of Cardwell; grandchildren, Brad McPherson, Brian Swain, Jessica McPherson Counts, Amanda Gillion, and Heather Gillion Terry; great granddaughters, Molly McPherson, Elleigh Counts, and Lynnlee Swain; brothers, Leon Williams, Saint Louis, MO, and Jerry Williams, Brookland; and sisters, Estelle Harrison, Paragould, and Juanita Lofton, Cardwell, MO.

A graveside funeral begins at 2 pm Friday in Cardwell Cemetery under the direction of Heath Funeral Home. Send memorials to Cardwell Cemetery or Cardwell Cemetery Road Fund.
