Charles "Chuck" Thomas Lemmons

Charles Thomas "Chuck" Lemmons, 47, of Paragould, passed from this life on Saturday, February 25, 2023. He was born in Jonesboro on December 10, 1975, to Janice Lemmons and the late Richard Allen Lemmons, Sr. His father passed away when Chuck was an infant. A few years later, his mother married Bill Miller, who helped raise Chuck. He graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1994. He married Christy Austin on September 24, 2005. He was a faithful member at Hillcrest Church of Christ. Most recently, Chuck was a sales representative for Messenger, LLC, a funeral stationery and merchandising company. Prior to that, Chuck spent several years as a licensed funeral director. He enjoyed bicycling, more specifically mountain biking, and camping with his family. Chuck adored his children, and he was always eager to share about his kids with anyone who would listen. He was a true servant for Christ as he always put others ahead of himself. When asked how he was, Chuck would always answer, "Better than I deserve." He considered himself blessed by God, his wife, his children, his family, and his friends. He was faithful, caring, and compassionate. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lemmons, Sr.; step-father, Bill Miller; brother, Richard Lemmons, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Chuck and Sarah Vaclavicek; and paternal grandparents, Quenton and Margaret Lemmons.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 17 years, Christy Lemmons; son, Cole Lemmons; daughter, Eden Lemmons; mother, Janice Lemmons Miller of Campbellsville, Kentucky; sister, Martha Gail (B.K.) Maynard of Campbellsville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harrell and Alice Austin of Paragould; sister-in-law, Robin (Don) Wilcox of Searcy; nephews and nieces, Madison Grace Maynard, Grant Wilcox, Alicen (J.C.) James, and Auburn (Tim) Stewart; great niece, Ivy Stewart; adopted parents, Danny and Sally Brinkley of Paragould; and many close friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-3 PM at Hillcrest Church of Christ. The funeral will begin at 3 PM with Tim Ohler, Gary Cremeens, and Cole Lemmons officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Knot Cemetery. Pallbearers are James Barnett, J.C. James, Tim Stewart, Nolan Vaclavicek, Craig Gammon, Grant Wilcox, and Keith Chunn.
