Charles “Chip” Glenn Vanaman, 58, of Dothan, Alabama passed away from this world on June 15, 2021. He was born in Wynne, Arkansas on August 18, 1962 to Calvin and Glenda Vanaman.
Chip was a graduate of Greene County Tech High School and Arkansas State University. He managed several Aaron’s Furniture stores in Mississippi and Alabama over the last 20 years. He loved Nascar, golf and spending time with his daughters and grandchildren, who he loved more than anything. His sense of humor and willingness to help those in need will be missed greatly by all of those who knew him and loved him.
Chip is preceded in death by his father, Calvin Vanaman; sister, Bliss Vanaman May; paternal grandparents, Clifton and Liberty Vanaman; and maternal grandparents, Claude and Linda Brown.
Survivors include his mother, Glenda Vanaman, of Paragould; daughters, Amber Vanaman, April (Jeremy) Biggs, Autumn Mathews and Allison (Joshua) Dixson, all of Paragould; grandchildren, Ava Bliss Biggs, Liberty Mathews, Carsyn Dixson, Jacob Vanaman, Marlee Dixson, Jacksyn Dixson, Rynlee Dixson, Berklee Dixson, Ashton Hamilton and Westyn Dixson, all of Paragould; brother, Tommy (Jennifer) Vanaman, of Beebe, and nephews, Grant and Cole Vanaman, of Beebe. Chip is also survived by the mother of his children, Lea Ann Stidham, of Paragould.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date.
