Charles A. Lawhorn

Charles A. Lawhorn, 88 of Paragould, died Thursday at Belle Meade Nursing Center. He was a retired machinist for General Motors and was of the Church of Christ belief. He was born in Marked Tree, AR on December 17, 1923. He enjoyed his garden and building things. He was preceded in death by parents, Charles A. and Augusta Hoggard Lawhorn, 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Jean Lawhorn of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Jim Downing of Michigan and Renee and Ken Rivera of California; son and daughter-in-law Charles Thomas and Jenette Lawhorn of Michigan. 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brother Bob Hoggard of Piggott and a loving niece, Glenda McPherson of Paragould. Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Monday at 1:30 P.M. at Linwood Cemetery with Gary Cremeans officiating.
