Charlene Marie Sickler, 76, passed away Wednesday at her residence surrounded by her family. She is the daughter of the late Andrew and Beatrice Weaver Bandy. Charlene worked at Frolic Footware for 20 years and also St. Bernard's as a CNA. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, fishing, yard sales, and watching her favorite soap operas. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Millard "Bud" Sickler; son, Robert DeBoard; daughter, Carla DeBoard; sisters, Mary Perkins and Pauline Dixon; and brother, Eugene Bandy.
Survivors include children, Dewayne DeBoard and Pam Niswonger, of Dixie, Michael and Norma DeBoard, of Trumann, Lynnette Barringer, of Paragould, and Linda Harper, of Highland; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Heath Funeral Home on Sunday from 10:30-12:30 pm. Graveside service will follow beginning at 1:00 pm at Pine Log cemetery with Rev. Terry Bandy officiating. Funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 12:30 pm. Pallbearers are Westley Barringer, Preston Barringer, Jeremy DeBoard, Michael DeBoard, Dayton Brown, and Dewayne DeBoard.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the special staff at AMMC for all they did in the care of Charlene.
