Catherine Ellen Barnes

Catherine Ellen Barnes, 64 of Paragould, passed from this life Sunday, October 30, 2011at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church in Paragould. She was a loving wife, mom and mawmaw! She touched everyone with her beautiful smile and her kindness. She blessed not only her family but those around her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Margaret Wells of Blytheville and four brothers, Don and Buddy Wells of Blytheville, Leon Wells of Paragould, Charles Wells of Pensecola, FL. Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years: Fred Barnes of Paragould; daughter: Debbie Rogers, sons: Jimmie Barnes and spouse Tonya, Alan Barnes all of Paragould; grandchildren: Christopher Rogers and spouse Holly of Jonesboro; Brandon Rogers and spouse Demetra, Courtney, Kacey, Cody, Taylor and Brooke Barnes all of Paragould;brother and sisters-in-law: Roy and Shirley Wells of Blytheville, Arkansas and Brenda Wells of Pensecola, Florida, nieces, nephews and several cousins. She was employed at Greene County Tech for 33 years. She was a bus driver and painter. She will be missed dearly. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Wednesday, at Heath Funeral Home. The celebration of her life will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, at Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Royce Boling officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
