Catherine Eleanor Jarvis Moore, 73 of Paragould, died Saturday at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. Eleanor was a retired Registered Nurse. She graduated in 1959 from St. Josephs Hospital School of Nursing, worked at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center from 1981-1996. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Glen Moore, Sr., father and mother, John R. and Ruth Louise Johnston Jarvis, step-mother, Faye Jarvis, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Armon H. and Mildred Moore, brother, Thomas Jarvis, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. Survivors include, sons, Dennis G. Moore, Jr. and John E. Moore both of Paragould; daughters and son-in-law Angela C. and Randall Hardin and Theresa L. Harris both of Paragould; brother and sister-in-law, John R., Jr. and Nettie Jarvis of Savannah, Ga; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Ray Brown of Snellville, Ga; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Gary and Ruth Moore of Jefferson City, MO, Max E. Moore of Paragould, David Lee More of Jonesboro; sister-in-law, Joan M. Dicus of Paragould; Grandchildren, Jessica and Christopher Hardin, Cody, Casey, Shawn and Sara Moore; great granddaughter, Katelynn Marie Reed. Rosary services will be at 6:00 P.M. Monday at Heath Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:30 - 8:00. Funeral mass will be Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Mike Sinkler officiatling. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Greene County Rescue Squad or St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
