Buford Adams

Buford Rudolph “Uncle B” Adams, 85 of Paragould died Monday at Arkansas Methodist Hospital. Buford was retired from Foremost Dairy after 34 years, a member of the East Side Baptist Church and a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Lee and Rachel Lee Adams; brothers, Curtis, Major and Buren Adams and a sister, Louise Winn. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Merlene Adams of the home; Sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Debbie Adams of Paragould, Phillip and Beverly Adams of Jonesboro; daughter and son-in-law Diane and Allen Russom of Beech Grove, AR; sister, Mildred Lawrence of Schugtown, AR. 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00 A.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Scudder officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Home Bound Ministries at East Side Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Lance and Randy Winn, Galen Lawrence, Brad Adams, Christopher Russom and Dennis Hampton.
