Brenda Trimble

Brenda Faye Stone Trimble, 83, of Paragould, passed from this life on Monday, October 9, 2023. She was born in Beebe on September 26, 1940, to the late Joe and Molly Stone. Brenda graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1958 and attended business college in Little Rock. While in Little Rock, she went on a blind date with Bill Cooper Trimble. That blind date sparked a relationship that lasted almost half a century. Brenda married the love of her life on February 1, 1963. They started a family, and Brenda became a homemaker as Bill's career moved them to Kansas City, Milwaukee, and San Francisco. When Bill retired, they moved their family to Hardy, Arkansas, where Brenda worked with her husband in radio, publishing, and printing. She became the First Lady of Hardy when Bill was elected Mayor. After his passing in 2007, Brenda moved to Paragould. She enjoyed reading books, working crossword puzzles, and watching crime shows. She loved holding and rocking her grandbabies. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Bill Trimble; parents, Joe and Molly Ione Stone; brother, Steven J. Stone; and sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Harold Hall.

Brenda is survived by her children, Joseph Cooper (Paula) Trimble of Austin, Texas, Caroline Stone Trimble (Dale) Schenk of Paragould, and Christopher Scott (Michele) Trimble of Oviedo, Florida; grandchildren, Richard Trimble, Steven (Christine) Trimble, Katie (Dan) Miller, Aaron (Melanie) Schenk, Kendall Trimble, and Stone Trimble; great grandchildren, Ryan, Amelia, Bennett, Rylan, Cooper, Reagan, and one on the way; sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Bill Pipkin of Searcy; sister-in-law, Sara Stone of Fairfax, Virginia; numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends; and her faithful Goldendoodle, Gus.

A visitation will be Tuesday evening, October 17, 2023, from 5-7 PM at Heath Funeral Home.
