Brenda French

Brenda Kay French, a beloved woman who devoted her life to her family and faith, will be remembered fondly as she passes into eternity. She was born on February 9, 1944, in Trumann, Arkansas, to the late Johnny and Lillian Ward.

After graduating from Oak Grove High School in 1962, Brenda diligently pursued her career while balancing her commitment to her family. Her maternal love extended to her children, Kevin (Brenda) French of Guy, Arkansas and Alicia French of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Kevin "KJ" French, Jr., Jagger French, Mark Rogers, and Paisley Davis; sister, Glenda Rogers; and her fur baby, Boomer.

A woman of faith, Brenda was a devoted member of Lake Street Baptist Church, finding solace and comfort in her spiritual community. She adored her church and actively participated in its activities, cherishing the friends and memories created within those walls. Brenda's love for travel allowed her to explore new horizons and create lasting memories with her loved ones.

Brenda's warm smile and kind heart will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and community. The funeral services to honor Brenda's life will be held at Heath Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. A visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 am. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with Rev. Wayne Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Smith, Gary Archibald, Rudy Randleman, Bryan Shatley, Gaylon Ashabranner, and Mark Rogers.

In her memory, Brenda Kay French's loved ones invite all who knew her to join in the celebration of her life and to bid her a heartfelt farewell. Through the stories and memories shared, Brenda's spirit will continue to live on, bringing comfort to those she held dear. Memorials to honor Brenda may be sent to Lake Street Baptist Church.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Lillian Ward, and her sister, Reda Seal.
