Bobby Hyde

Bobby Lynn Hyde, born on May 6, 1966, in Paragould, departed from this world on September 30, 2024. A beloved husband to Shelly, a proud father to Shawn Hyde and Marisa Hyde, and a doting grandfather to Ryker Houston and Sloane Hale, Bobby's presence brought warmth and joy to all around him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever echo through the hearts of his family.

Having graduated from Greene County Tech in 1985, Bobby was known for his exceptional skills on the basketball court and as a passionate player, he forged friendships that endured the test of time. Throughout his life, Bobby was a dedicated plumber at A1 Plumbing, where he approached his work with integrity and a willingness to help others.

Fondly remembered for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor, Bobby was a natural entertainer who never failed to bring a smile to those in his company - whether by playing with his grandchildren or, under his playful pseudonym Bobby Swift, delighting all with his deliberately incorrect renditions of popular songs. His siblings, Glenn (Rita) Andis, Julie Montgomery, Randy Hyde, and Susie Hyde, as well as his step-son Christopher (Beth) Davis and their five children, numerous nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends and acquaintances, will deeply mourn his passing.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Hyde and Geneva Hyde; brothers, Ricky Hyde and David Hyde; and sister, Eva Hyde.

A memorial service to celebrate Bobby's life will be held at Heath Funeral Home on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 3:00 pm. Following the service, a public visitation will take place from 4:00 pm for those who wish to pay their respects. In honoring his memory, let us come together to share stories, shed tears, and find solace in the legacy Bobby has left behind. May his spirit rest in peace, and his memory forever flourish in our hearts.
