Bobby Gene Forkum

Bobby Gene Forkum, 84, of Paragould, passed from this life on Sunday, December 11, 2022. He was born in Light on March 12, 1938, to the late David and Nellie Forkum. Bob married Patsy Deen on November 19, 1960. Together, they spent 62 years in a loving marriage surrounded by their family. Bob worked at Paragould Light Water & Cable for over 20 years. He enjoyed going to flea markets and auction sales. He was a fisherman, but his family time was something he always cherished. Bob was a family man, and he loved being around his children and grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Helen Lenderman; brothers, Harold, Dub, and Buford Forkum; and granddaughters, Reianna and Destiney Forkum.

Bob is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patsy Forkum; sons, Ricky (Karen) Forkum of Brookland and Terry (Tammy) Forkum of Paragould; grandchildren, Katelynn Forkum, Karlee Forkum, Levi (Kirby) Thornton, Cody Thornton, Michael (Ashley) Oost, Cody (Donna) Oost, and Casey Oost; eight great grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:30-3 PM at Heath Funeral Home. A private burial will follow the visitation.
