Blake Howerton, 27, of Paragould, died Monday, October 29, 2012, in Paragould. He was born July 6, 1985 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was a workforce specialist and web developer and a member of East Side Baptist Church. Blake graduated from ASU with a Music Education Degree and also sang with a gospel quartet. Suvivors are his parents, Lane and Audra Howerton, of the home; maternal grandparents Diane and Michael Lopez of Goodland, Wisconsin, Curtis and Barbara Dwyer of Paragould, Lucille and Don Nickel of Green Valley, Arizona, and Lois Walker; Paternal grandmother: Wanda Howerton of Paragould; and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Leon Howerton, Curtis and Lula Howerton, Hershel and Lucille Flanery, Henry Walker and Kenneth Engel, Dennis and Roosevelt Dwyer. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated at East Side Baptist Church, 10:00 AM, Friday, with Reverend Jason Noel and Reverend Dennis Scudder officiating. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Joey Martin, Andrew Hoke, Chris Songer, Kevin Dyer, Daniel Stafford, Adam Ring, Adam Brawner.
