Bill Ovid Wyatt died peacefully at Greene Acres Nursing Home on December 25, 2021 surrounded by his family, at the age of 85.
Bill Ovid Wyatt was born August 31, 1936, in Kennett, MO, to William Ovid Wyatt and Neva Lorene Wyatt, he was their only child.
He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Senath First Baptist Church but over the past 3 years faithfully attended East Side/Harvest Baptist Church of Paragould. He lived in Paragould for the past 3 years to be closer to his children, but had resided in the Kennett Missouri area most of his life.
He attended Georgia Tech in Atlanta GA and then proudly served in the 11th Airborne Division of the United States Army, stationed in Augsburg, Germany. He was former manager of 4 Way Gin Company of Senath, Missouri and the owner of Wyatt’s Sinclair in Senath Missouri at time of his retirement.
He is preceded in death by the love of his life Shirley Ann (Martin) Wyatt, his parents William Ovid Wyatt and Neva Lorene Wyatt.
He is survived by his daughter Debbie (Phillip) Miles of Paragould, son ,David Wyatt of Marietta GA, grandson Zachary (Susan) Pierce of Paragould, grandson Chris (Annie) Wyatt of Marietta GA, grandson Jacob (Erica) Pierce of Paragould , grandson Tyler Wyatt of Dahlgren, Virginia, grandson Brian (Ludivine) Miles of Jonesboro and grandson Kevin (Angela) Miles of Stephenville TX. 10 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are David Wyatt, Phillip Miles, Zach Pierce, Chris Wyatt, Jacob Pierce and Tyler Wyatt.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM in the Heath Funeral Home chapel, Paragould, Arkansas with burial to follow at Memorial Gardens in Kennett, MO with Mike Ford officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Harvest Baptist Church building fund
Bill was a great storyteller, had a smile and laugh that no one could ever forget. He was loved by many, never met a stranger and will be dearly missed by all.
