Billy Fortenberry

Billy Fortenberry, 69, departed this life on Monday, August 13, 2013. He was born on October 27, 1943 in Bono to the late C.L. and Geraldine Fortenberry. Billy was a retired farmer and enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of Ducks Unlimited. He loved to cook outdoors for his family and friends and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joy Ann Fortenberry; a son, Roger Fortenberry (Cindy Lancaster) of Paragould; a daughter, Robin Fortenberry of Paragould; four grandchildren, Kassey Maxwell, Cody Fortenberry, John Fortenberry and Randi Leigh Lancaster all of Paragould; two brothers, Jerry Fortenberry of Paragould and Carey Fortenberry (Donna) of Little Rock; two sisters, Joyce Dowler (Jerry) and Faye Shaw (Dowyn) all of Paragould; a sister-in-law, Becky Fortenberry of Columbus, MS. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Fortenberry. A memorial service will be 7:00 pm, Friday, August 16, 2013 at Heath Funeral Home with Dennis Vowell officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 until time of service, Friday at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould.
