Billy Darrell Twitty, 88, of Marmaduke, passed away Tuesday at St. Bernard's Medical Center. In his spare time, Billy could be found swinging on his front porch, spending quality time with his grandchildren or tinkering. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lillian Brake Twitty; son, Darin Bradford Twitty; grandson, Caleb Twitty; brothers, Jack Twitty, Johnny Twitty, and Sonny Twitty; and sisters, Kathlene Jones and Annabel Morgan.
Survivors include his wife, Wava Lou Twitty of the home; children, Darla (Randy) Eubanks, DeCorinthia (Rev. Chris) Ussery, DeTonia Trayler, DeLetha (Rev. Carl) Clark and DeBrent (Kristi) Twitty all of Paragould; grandchildren, Kristy (Rev. Brad) Agee, Chris (Trish) Eubanks, Cory Twitty, Ryan (Kaye) Hoepfl, Jace (Lexi) Crocker, Dara Ussery, Dallas Trayler, Tyler Trayler, Laura (Tony) Elias, Casey Winneberger, Jaden Clark, Brayden Twitty and Evan Twitty; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Bob (Maxine) Twitty.
Visitation will be held Friday night at Heath Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be Saturday at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Brad Agee, Rev Carl Clark and Dallas Trayler officiating. Burial will follow at Gainesville Cemetery. Online tributes: www.heathfuneralhome.com.
In order to comply with CDC guidelines, there is a limitation of 80 people allowed inside the facility at one time. Face masks are required inside the building and friends are asked to practice social distancing.
