Betty Wynn Hackworth

Betty Wynn Hackworth, 83, of Paragould, passed from this life on Monday, December 19, 2022. She was born in Harrisburg on February 5, 1939, to the late Robert Wesley and Violet Hosier. Betty married Carl Wynn and had two children. She spent a few years working at Kentucky Fried Chicken, and she thoroughly enjoyed her time there. After Carl's passing, Betty married Winford Hackworth. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Carl Wynn; second husband, Winford Hackworth; daughter, Dawn Renee Smith; sister, Ola Mae Morris; brothers, Reuben, Joe, and George Hosier; and special friend, Gary Lloyd.

Betty is survived by her son, Marty (Melissa) Wynn of Walcott; grandchildren, Kristin (Jason) Summers, Brittany (J.R.) Lawrence, Katie (Jonathan) Harter, Zachary (Kaylyn) Wynn, and Kelsea Smith; great grandchildren, Isaac, Ezekiel, and Chyna Summers, Marleigh and Baylor Lawrence, Phoebea, Wyleigh, and Zebediah Harter, Jemma Wynn, and Josslin Hodge; brothers, John, Mikey, and David Hosier; and sisters, Bertha "Estelle" Hosier, Mary Davis, Carolyn Bridges, and Ann Hosier.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10-11 AM at Heath Funeral Home. The procession will then leave the funeral home for a graveside funeral at Pine Log Cemetery beginning at 11:30 AM with Rev. Dennis Strope officiating. Pallbearers are Zachary Wynn, Jonathan Harter, J.R. Lawrence, and Jason Summers.
