Betty Sue Mahan

Betty Mahan, 83, of Paragould, passed away Sunday in Kennett. She was a retired beautician and of the baptist faith. She enjoyed playing piano and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Mahan, and parents, Henry and Marveline Harness.

Survivors include her daughter, Anne Gregory of Paragould; granddaughters, Jeri (Donnie) Lowe of Henderson, Tennessee and Christy (Kyle) Marshall of Paragould; sister, Peggy Baker of North Carolina; six great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; nephew, Todd (Amy) Baker of North Carolina, niece, Tara (Jay) of Iowa; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation is Saturday from 10-11 AM at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral begins at 11 with Larry McFadden officiating. Interment will follow in Hartsoe Cemetery. Pallbearers are Donnie Lowe, Kyle Marshall, Archie Eason, Jim Carter, Cody Crabtree, Matt Hay, Sam Marshall, and Josh Hay. Honorary pallbearers are Bud Gregory and Allen Hagen. Memorials may be sent to PAWS in Paragould.
