Betty May Latting, 88, of Paragould, passed away Tuesday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Marcie and William May. Betty was retired from Foremost Dairy, Darling Store Fixtures, Walmart, and Belk and was a life long member of Unity Baptist Church. Her hobbies included sewing in her earlier years, spending time with her precious family, and was known for being the Facebook Queen of comments. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Oral Ray Latting; seven brothers; and five sisters.
Survivors include son, Stephen (Alisa) Latting, of Paragould; daughter, Tracy Brewer, of Paragould; grandchildren, Anthony Grooms, Brandon Grooms, Michael Grooms, Shelby Latting, and Fletcher Latting, all of Paragould; seven great grandchildren; and bonus family, Bill and Bonnie Walls.
Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:00-11:00 am at Unity Baptist Church. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with Rev. Terry Songer officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be sent to Unity Baptist Church
