Ashley Nicole Monroe, a beloved member of the Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro, passed away earlier this week. Born on February 19, 1994, in Covington, TN, Ashley brought joy and kindness to all those around her. She was a loving soul who never met a stranger, whether human or animal, always ready to give to those in need.
Ashley found joy in the simplicity of life, whether it be hunting for deals at yard sales or spending quality time binge-watching her favorite shows with her cherished family. Her passion for art shone through her incredibly realistic drawings, showcasing her talent and creativity.
Employed in maintenance at Arkansas State University, Ashley had earned an Associate's Degree in business, demonstrating her dedication and hard work. Known for her generosity and warm smile, Ashley touched the lives of many and will forever be remembered for her compassionate spirit.
Preceded in death by her grandmother, Sandy Cavette, she leaves behind her father, Allen Monroe and mother, Stacey Monroe of Brookland; brother Zachery (Stephanie) Monroe, sisters Angel, Faythe, and Kota Monroe, along with her adoring nephew Kaleb Monroe. Alongside a host of extended family members including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, Ashley leaves a legacy of love and kindness that will endure through the generations.
To commemorate her life, a Funeral Service in honor of Ashley Nicole Monroe will be held at Heath Funeral Home on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 3:00 pm, with Pastor Lance Madden officiating. A Public Visitation will precede the service at 2:00 pm, providing an opportunity for all who knew and loved Ashley to pay their respects.
