Arna L. Watkins

Arna L. Watkins, 91, of Cumming, GA, formerly of Paragould, passed peacefully Friday, August 5, 2016. A member of the First Baptist Church of Paragould, Arna was a bookkeeper for 57 years. She was a member of the B&PW, the Paragould Garden Club, and volunteered at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center and many other organizations. Arna enjoyed embroidery and decorating her home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, John C. Watkins, Attorney at Law.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and David Schult of Cumming; grandsons, John (Maria) Rea of Dunwoody, GA and Nick (Jennifer) Schult of Garden City, IA; great grandchildren, John and Isabella Rea, Alex and Emmit Schult; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 P.M. in Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Joe Marsden officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Paragould.
