June 1, 1982 — April 26, 2023

April Nicole Biggs, 40, of Paragould, passed away on April 26, 2023. She was surrounded by her family in a home full of love, as she closed her eyes one final time.

April was born in Paragould on June 1, 1982 to the late Charles “Chip” Vanaman and Lea Ann Vanaman Stidham. She was a graduate of Paragould High School and earned her Bachelor of Science and Masters in Business Administration from Arkansas State University. She was a human resource officer with Centennial Bank and was utterly overjoyed to help others everyday in her job. April loved traveling with her husband and daughter. April’s favorite place to visit, and where she got engaged, was New York City. She loved girl trips to New York with her daughter. April also had the pleasure of visiting China, Hong Kong, and Italy. April served as President of Jonesboro Young Professionals Network, President of the Northeast Arkansas Society of Human Resource Managers, Treasurer of Gilda’s Club of NEA, and volunteered with numerous other charitable organizations in the community she cherished.

April was preceded in death by her father; paternal grandfather, Charles Calvin Vanaman; maternal grandparents, Ethan and Bettye Busby; as well as her aunt and daughters namesake, Kristi Bliss May.

April is survived by her soul mate, best friend, and husband of 18 years, Jeremy Allen Biggs; her beautiful, strong, and intelligent daughter, Ava Bliss Biggs; her nurturing and encouraging mother, Lea Ann Vanaman (Dan) Stidham; her adoring and devoted sisters, Amber (Jerry) Dickson, Allison (Josh) Dixson, and Autumn (Josh) Hamilton, all of Paragould; her grandmother, Glenda Vanaman; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gary and Beverly Biggs of Paragould, who always loved her as their own; and brother-in-law, Cory (Carrie) Biggs of Chapel Hill, NC. April is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews whom she adored and showered with love and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her.

April truly made this world a better place and inspired many along the journey of her remarkable life. The world was a better and brighter place with April’s beautiful smile in it.
