Angella Griffin

January 7, 1943 — October 20, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angella Eve (Winn) Griffin, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, on October 20, 2024. Born in Schugtown, Arkansas, on January 7, 1943, Angie was a dedicated Foreman at Tenneco, showcasing her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Throughout her life, Angie found joy in various activities, including playing softball, bowling, and driving 18-wheelers. She also had a keen interest in art, particularly painting, capturing the beauty of nature through her creations. Angie's love for music and yodeling was infectious, and she would dance with sheer abandon whenever the music played.

Angie's boundless love extended to her family, where she cherished spending time with her grandkids, always ready to spoil them. She was known for her kindness and generosity, never being able to say no to her beloved grandchildren.

Angie is survived by her sons, Joey (Kristie) Huffman, Kevin Huffman, and Rusty Griffin; son-in-law, Dale Johns; grandchildren, Breann (Alan) Polston, Janell Huffman, Josh (Keri) Huffman, Brandon Huffman, Brent (Jean) Huffman, Kristyn Rutter, Zachary (Morgan) Huffman, Lindsey Huffman, and Chrystal Williams; the father of her children, Raymond Huffman; 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Randy (Suka) Winn, Debra (Rick) Walker, and Lance (Chris) Winn.

Angie was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Griffin; parents, Audrey Louise Adams and Rual Esco Winn; daughter, Rayella Louise Johns; step-sons, Tim Griffin and Michael Griffin; and great-grandson, Archer Huffman.

In honor of Angie's life, visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, at 2:00 pm, at Heath Funeral Home. A funeral service in remembrance of Angie will take place at 3:00 pm on the same day at Heath Funeral Home with Matt Devers and Bro. Phillip Brown officiating. A burial ceremony will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Russ Walker, Richard Walker, Jimmy Bales, Ethan Bales, Randy Davis, and Cliff Fordham.
