Amos "Jerry" Wright

Amos "Jerry" Wright, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday morning at his residence. He was a retired electrician who loved to work on repairing things. He was born in Leachville and was of the Baptist faith. Jerry was the son of the late Richard Laster and Winona Faye Patterson Wright. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann McCormick, and brothers, Wayne Wright, Tony Wright, and Norman Wright.

Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Louise Wright of the home; daughters, Marilyn Kay Lloyd of Bakersfield, California and Geneva Susan Wright of Washington State; brother, Richard Wright of Florida; sisters, Linda Mullins of Illinois and Carol of Wynne; step-brother, Paul Johnson of Tennessee and step-sister, Barbara Bazik of Illinois; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Saturday at 11 AM at Linwood Cemetery.
