Almeria Jackson, 91, of Paragould, died Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born August 12, 1922 in the Mounds Community to the late Jessie and Dora May Walls Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harrell Jackson, infant son, Larry Jackson, daughter, Dee Anderson, grandson, Robbie Dunlap and many brothers and sisters. She was a member of Greater Vision Pentecostal Church. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Richard and Gail Thomas Jackson of Magnolia Springs, Alabama, Valerie and Wesley Mills of Jonesboro; sisters: Elsie Porter and Mogene Gray, both of Paragould; grandchildren: Lance Dunlap, Timmi Dunlap, Thomas Jackson and Jackson Hendrix; great grandchildren: Eddie Anderson, Tommy Anderson and Katie Jackson. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:30 A.M. until service time at 12:00 PM at Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Rick Ethridge officiating.
