Alma V. Davis, 84 of Paragould died Thursday at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Alma was a retired beautician and a member of the Gainesville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Davis; son, Wesley Davis, great granddaughter, Karissa Scott and parents, John and Velora Vines Clifton. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Diana Davis of Paragould; daughter and son-in-law, Joan C. and Steve Scott of Paragould; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Davis of Scott City, MO; brothers and sister-in-law, Vernon Clifton of Wilmot, AR and Earl and Wanda Clifton of Evening Star, AR; sister and brother-in-law, Claira and Bill Lovelady of Beech Grove, AR and special caregiver and family friend, Bonnie Gatlin. 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:30-9:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 3:30 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with L.R. Smith and Chad Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Cross, Randall Brittingham, Ernest Shephard, Roger Knight, Jerry Pillow and Joey Pillow. Honorary pallbearers, Christopher Scott, Brandon Rogers, Jason MacDonald, Nathaniel Horton, Bubby Scott and Matthew Pecknyo. Memorials may be made to Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.
