Ada May Stout

Ada May (Weatherly) Stout, 99, of Paragould, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 27, 2008 at Belle Meade Nursing Center. Mrs. Stout was born February 11, 1909, in Greene County the daughter of the late Thomas and Florence Weatherly. She was also preceeded in death by her husband, Buck Stout, sisters, Vivian Taylor and Lorene McKelvey. Mrs. Stout was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and quilting. Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law: Inez and Gene McPherson and Ruth and L.D. Dunaway, all of Paragould; four grandchildren, Melinda Dixon, Robbie Dunaway, Cindy Dortch and David McPherson; and six great-grandchildren, Amber Cavaness, Sarah Collier, Davina Caveness, Christina Cavaness, Morgan McPherson and Michael Dixon. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 P.M. Sunday at Heath Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland for a graveside service at 2:00 PM Monday with Breck Freeman officiating. Memorials may go to Focus, Inc. or Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
