Wanda Lee Wright

Wanda Lee Mobley Wright, 80, of Paragould, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013, at her home with her family surrounding her. Preceding here in death were he parents, Lester and Jessie Mobley and a sister. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Eddie Gene Wright; children, Rita Wright Ellington of Paragould, Debbie and Bill Elliott of Harrisburg, AR, Ricky and Donna Wright and Ronnie and Leigh Ann Wright all of Paragould. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nathan Elliott of Jonesboro, Justin and Breann Elliott of Edmond , OK, Allison and Shaun Nettle , Katlyn and Hailey Wright, Allison and Tyler Hestand all of Paragould; Great Grandchild, Ryker Elliott of Edmond, OK; brother, Billy and Shirley Mobley of Paragould; sister-in-law, Myrna & Dave Camp, Francis Wright and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, church family and many dear friends. Wanda lived all of her life in Greene County, except when her husband was serving in the U.S. Army. At that time, she moved to Ft. Hood, TX, where she made many life long friends and many wonderful memories. Mrs. Wright loved the Lord and served him all of her life. She taught Sunday School for many years and traveled with her husband to Arkansas Mission Builders, Texarkana Baptist Children’s Home and many other places to serve in the Lord’s work. She was always there for her family and friends, helping and supporting them in every way. She was a member of the Paragould Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be Monday, December 23, 2013, from 12:30-3:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated at 3:00 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Revs. Mike Chadwick, Bryan Johnson and Boyce Cate officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Nathan and Justin Elliott, Shaun Nettle, Johnny Cole, Steve Wright and Tyler Hestand. Any lasting memorials may be made to The Wright Foundation that was established to honor Eddie Gene and Wanda Wright.
