O. V. Louis Kappelman

O.V. Louis Kappelman, 91, passed away Sunday at Greene Acres Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Oscar and Pearl Kappelman. Louis was an Army World War II veteran. He was known for his green thumb, especially when growing tomatoes and roses. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Kappelman; step-son, Gary Mason; brothers, Cleo Kappelman, O.H. Kappelman, O'Dell Kappelman, O'Neal Kappelman; and sisters, Lenora Skaggs and Marybell Grooms.

Survivors include wife, Violet Kappelman, Paragould; son, Eddie Kappelman, Owosso, Michigan; daughter, Sharon Lyons, Dothan, Alabama; step-daughters, Sheila Franks, Kennett, Missouri, and Sandra Wisemand, Bull Shoals; grandsons, Gary Mason, Alabama, Kevin Kappelman, Tennessee, Dustin Kappelman and Noah Kappelman both of Michigan; granddaughters, Haley Kappelman and Hanna Kappelman, both of Michigan; and several great grandchildren.

The procession will leave the funeral home at 2:00 pm Saturday for a graveside service in Lafe.
