Kathy Lynn Tedder Foss "Babe"

Kathy Lynn Tedder Foss "Babe", 70, of Paragould, passed from this life on Monday, February 13, 2023. She was born in Paragould on May 24, 1952, to the late L.C. and Devona Tedder. Kathy graduated from Greene County Tech High School in 1970. She then earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Master of Science in Education, both from Arkansas State University. Kathy was an elementary school teacher for 26 years, spending all but one of those years at Greene County Tech. She became a reading specialist and taught reading to many students. Kathy had many talents. She was considered an artist, and she was especially gifted with paint, watercolors, pen/ink, and charcoal. Kathy was known to crochet things from time to time. She loved to read, and she loved to inspire reading in her students. In fact, every student she ever taught was considered her kid. She would always refer to them as her "sweet babies". Kathy had an interest in spray painting and hot glue. Several items throughout her house are known to have layers of spray paint to keep them looking good. She once said that all anyone needs is hot glue and electrical tape to fix anything. Kathy loved her Lord and Savior, and she was a member of Lake Street Baptist Church. Even in her last days, she was sharing her love for Jesus and telling others about his love for them. Like her mother, Kathy's greatest loves were God, her husband, Joe, whom she married on November 29, 2002, and her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Kimberly Tedder; grandson Darrel Kason Dollars; and special cousin, Mike Patten.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Joe Foss, of Paragould; daughters, Darra (Doug) Smith, Kacey (Barry) McBroom, and Joey (Scott) Pillow all of Paragould; grandchildren, Kaitlin (James) Adkins of Paragould, Abby (Garett) Felkins of Bono, Alex Sparr of Little Rock, Avery Sparr of Paragould, Ethan Pillow of Paragould, and Hannah Bryson of Little Rock; great grandchildren, Liv Adkins and Stevie Felkins; and brother, Kevin (Lynn) Tedder of Paragould.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 10am-12pm at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral begins at 12pm with Rev. Jeff Gatewood officiating. Burial will follow in Warren's Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jake Pillow, Frankie Swindle, Chris Hart, David Dinkins, Brandon Chamberlain and Bryan Shatley. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Hodge, Danny Rogers, Keith Davis and Harold Diggs.
