Joyce Ann Moya

Joyce Ann Moya, 68, of Paragould, passed from this life on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Flo and Phil Hospice House. She was born in Kennett on February 25, 1955, to the late Eb and Rose Mae Norman. It is safe to say that Joyce enjoyed being behind the wheel of an automobile. She spent several years as a truck driver, and she was known to race cars in her younger years. She loved to fish, and she spent many afternoons in her lifetime with a rod in her hand. Joyce was gifted in photography. She created a hobby of taking pictures and developing the pictures she took. She married Frank Moya on December 18, 1999, and she cherished her life with him until his passing. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, Kenny and Ted Norman.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Amanda Turner (Jeremy Osbon) of Lafe; grandchildren, Katlyn (Evan) Fortson of Harrisburg, Tyler Miller (Erika Victory) of Paragould, Ally Turner (Jake Greer) of Jonesboro, Abby Osbon of Jonesboro, and Tharen Osbon of Paragould; great grandchildren, Jayce and Zayden Miller of Paragould, Skylar Fortson of Harrisburg, and soon-to-be-born Avery Fortson; brother, Roger Norman; sisters, Patricia Whitlow, Darlene Forbs, and Mable Poore; her fur babies, Little Bit and Scooby; and a host of other grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 12-1 PM at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 1 PM. Burial will follow in Cardwell Cemetery. Pallbearers are Evan Fortson, Tyler Miller, Larry Brooks, Tharen Osbon, Tony Lattimore, and Kody McCombs. Honorary pallbearer is Jeremy Osbon.
