Jerry George Clifford, 83 of Paragould died Tuesday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was a retired Senior Manufacturing Engineer for Parker-Hannifin. He loved fishing, hunting, watching the grandchildren play sports, stock car racing and using his hands to fix any problem that came his way.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Pollock, parents, George and Velma Davis Clifford and son-in-law, Lee Gray.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Clifford of the home; children, Cathy Gray, Jerry Don (Connie) Clifford, Terry (Kim) Clifford, Todd (Shellie) Clifford, Tonya (Marc) Benefield. 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and his river family, his racing family, and everyone he loved like family.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday at 3:00 PM in the Heath Chapel with Danny Hathcoat and Aaron Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Terry James Clifford, “Dink” Dale McClelland, Jason Masingale, Brandon Clifford, Major Ray and Gary Lee Pollock.
Honorary pallbearers are grandchildren and great grandchildren.
