Doyne Max Shaw

Doyne Max Shaw was born on July 17, 1941, to Ora and Lorene Robertson Shaw. Doyne passed away on November 28, 2023, at his home with his family at his bedside. He married Faye Fortenberry on January 19, 1974. Doyne spent most of his career in car sales, and he had a passion for anything automotive. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. Doyne was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tonya Mischeall Shaw; and four brothers-in-law whom he thought a lot of, Jerry, Bill, and Robert Fortenberry and Jerry Dowler.

Doyne is survived by his wife of 49 years, Faye Shaw; two sons, Todd Shaw of Batesville and Cory Shaw of Paragould; two granddaughters, Perri Mischeall Middlebrook (Jake) of Paragould and Whitley Smith of Melbourne; one great granddaughter, Josie Mischeall Middlebrook of Paragould; sister-in-law, Joyce Dowler; brother-in-law, Carey Fortenberry; and many special cousins and friends.

A visitation will be Friday evening, December 1, 2023, from 6-8 PM at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 10 AM with Bro. Kim Bridges and Pastor Laramie LeQuieu officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scott and Tracy Dowler, and Kevin, Roger, Layne, and Keith Fortenberry. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Bridges, Joe Vangilder, Tom Barnett, Foy Gilliam, Rick McMillian, and Ray Noel. To honor Doyne, memorials may be sent to Harvest Baptist Church Building Fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
